Supervised In-Plant Training (SIPT) Program
In furtherance of our mission to provide technical skill education to disadvantaged youth, Don Bosco Technical School – Technical Vocational Education and Training (DBTS – TVET) devised a two-year Industry Skills and Training Program.
Working hand-in-hand with the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training Centre (MOLVT), our school offers a 3-month Supervised In-Plant Training (SIPT) program to our graduating students. Following their seventeen-month in-campus training, all students from each faculty are required to participate in undertaking work experience in an industry partner’s plant. The program seeks to further enhance the skills of students and enable them to gain more experience within their field.
100% Employment Success Rate
In 2012 and 2013 Don Bosco Technical School had a 100 per cent employment success rate – with all students able to secure employment following their involvement in the SIPT program.
